Nagasaki, 1945

Sixty years ago, an American reporter named George Weller visited Nagasaki less than a month after the atomic bombing on August 9, 1945. Weller's stories were impounded by U.S. military censors and never published, at least not until now. Recently, Weller's son found the stories, along with some photographs, in a box. You can read the four-part series here in the Mainichi Daily News.
